In the Hallway
It's impossible to articulate the swarm of emotions we are experiencing after today's visit to MD Anderson. There actually are several doors leading to different treatment paths subsequent to a failed autologous transplant. It's good to have options. Lorelei has made no decision yet. Lots to consider. Please pray for wisdom and courage. Several of the possible paths look difficult. The fight isn't over.
First things first, we need to know if the newly detected growth is active cancer or not. Even though we've been told it is likely going to glow in a PET Scan, we're still hopeful and ready to praise God for healing if that PET is clear. It would be soooooo much fun to have the doctors scratching their heads over a clear PET when it was unexpected instead of the previous four PET scans they expected to be clear and were scratching their heads because they weren't. That PET (her sixth in one year) should happen this week.
So, right now Lorelei is standing in the hallway.
Standing in the hallway singing praises to God.
