Proof for Momma's eyes

A CD arrived via FedEx from Houston today. Being the considerate child she is, Lorelei has requested MD Anderson send the CD if her most recent PET to our home so we could take it to Dr. Geister. Of course I popped it into our computer to take a peek for myself. I suppose I just needed to see it with my own eyes. It's beautiful. The top photo is the January 8 PET done at Integris. The bottom is from approximately the same cross-section of the PET done at MD Anderson on March 19. Notice how much less intensely the node on the right (Lorelei's left) glows following 2 treatments of Brentuximab. The glowing is more diffuse indicating a lower concentration of active cancer cells. It's so pretty I just had to share. Thank God for the scientists who conducted the research to develop the Brentuximab bio-immunotherapy.
